AMD beating the pants off Intel again (circa 2019)

It's crazy to think about, but here we are again. Athlon64, the Zen3 chips, and now the newest lineup from AMD is wrecking i9 14900K's.

I'll definitely be reconsidering Intel vs AMD whenever those 5090's drop and I get to building a new MegaPCv2.

I've been Ryzen since the 1600x and haven't looked back. I'd love to ditch my nvidia card soon, too.

As a former ATI fanboi, I hear ya. But NVIDIA just whips way too much ass for the kind of stuff I do with NVENC, between live encoding, and video transcoding.

I can see myself moving to an AMD CPU.
